The weekend is here, which means a fresh batch of movie and TV titles are in the queue. Whether you're piling into the car on your way to the theater or piling onto the couch with your own snacks, there's plenty to watch as a family.

Legacy sequels are still alive and well, and the latest one to hit theaters nationwide involves 80s coming-of-age icon Daniel LaRusso and martial arts icon Jackie Chan in Karate Kid: Legends. When teen Kung Fu prodigy Li Fong moves to New York City with his mom, he hits some unique fish-out-of-water turbulence, including bullying. But with the support of some great mentorship, he's able to face his biggest challenges yet.
We reviewed the film and got to speak with its stars about what families with teens should expect from this Karate Kid for a new generation.

Peppa Pig is becoming a big sister...again! This time, Peppa and her family want everyone to join them at the theater to welcome the new baby during this special cinematic experience from Hasbro. This new hour-long experience will appear in more than 2,600 theaters across 14 countries, and will feature 10 new episodes of Peppa Pig. There will also be six new songs, music videos, and more unveilings, including the new baby pig’s name.
Parents got an exclusive first look at this cinematic experience and what fans should look forward to. If you can find this event at a theater near you, grab the fam and join in the celebration.

Based on the bestselling book of the same name, Lulu Is a Rhinoceros is a family musical special about a bulldog named Lulu who is convinced she is actually a rhino. This Apple TV+ special follows Lulu as she embarks on an adventure of self-discovery, joined by new friends and powered by catchy songs.
Parents spoke with the creators about how this new musical version of the story should help kids practice radical self-acceptance.

For those in the family who love a literal star crossed lovers story, this new Korean animated Sci-Fi film should be a delight.
In 2050 Seoul, astronaut Nan-young has failed the final test to onboard an expedition to Mars. A musician named Jay buries his dreams in a vintage audio equipment shop. After the two fall in love after a chance encounter, Nan-young is given another chance to fly to Mars, which is all she ever wanted.

As Netflix is now pretty much essential in every household, the service has begun hosting live fan events, celebrating their original shows and movies called Tudum (the sound that accompanies the Netflix logo when you first enter the app).
The first Tudum took place in January 2020 in Brazil. This year's event will stream live on Netflix May 31st at 5:00 PM PT / 8:00 PM ET from the Kia Forum in Los Angeles. The show will be packed with huge stars, exclusive reveals, and live performances for fans.
Disney+ is closing out May with a season finale.
