AMSTERDAM, (Netherlands) - The Netherlands put up another dominant campaign, sweeping all five games and punctuating their home stand with a huge 21-11 win over Canada in the FIBA 3x3 Amsterdam Women’s Series 2025 Final.

Entering as the top-ranked team once more, the Dutch squad lived up to expectations and won every assignment by an average margin of 11.4 points. They did have to deal with some tension down the stretch, though, as the Canadians kept things close in a low-scoring affair where they even led 10-9 with just 2:14 to go.

But the Netherlands eventually got it rolling in the clutch, going on an 11-1 run to close things out thanks to some steady work at the free throw line.

Much like the Chengdu stop, Ilsei Kujit and Janis Boonstra led the way once more in scoring by dropping six points each. Tournament Most Valuable Player (MVP) Noortje Driessen and Evelien Schipholt, meanwhile, tossed in four each.

Steady hands proved to be the key for the Netherlands, who took advantage of Canada's penalty situation late in the game by scoring nine of their next 11 points from the free throw line while only missing one foul shot.

This is the Netherlands' second win of the 2025 Women's Series as they have proven to be a cut above the rest early on in the season. So far, it does not look like anyone will be slowing down anytime soon with 13 stops to go.

Driessen. who notched her second-straight Women's Series MVP, is primed to continue being at the forefront of the action. The 25-year-old star was second in scoring this tournament with 32 points, equaling her mark from the Chengdu stop. Driessen's 20 highlights and 40.8 Player Value were also second across the field, and she added six assists as well.
