Netflix's new 2025 action thriller has become one of the streamer's top 5 most popular non-English movies of all time. The platform has seen with several action titles on Netflix having reached massive viewership and receiving critical acclaim. The top-performing non-English titles have more than 100 million views.

Inspired by Norwegian folklore about an ancient troll, the 2022 monster movie Troll, directed by Roar Uthag, tells a tale about the crisis when an ancient troll is awakened by an explosion. The film's smash success has led to a sequel titled Troll 2, which will explore a new threat to the armed forces. Now, a new action thriller is climbing the charts after its release two months ago.
