The Los Angeles Lakers (NBA) have confirmed 25-year-old power forward Jaxson Hayes (7'0''-220lbs-2000, college: Texas) in their roster for the upcoming 2025-26 season. He has been with the team for the last two seasons and played a key role in helping them win the Pacific Division title.
In 2019, he was drafted by the Atlanta Hawks in the first round (8th overall). Hayes attended the University of Texas, and it will be his seventh season in pro basketball.
He has played previously for two other teams: the New Orleans Pelicans and the Birmingham Squadron.
Hayes was voted All-Big 12 Freshman of the Year during his college time in 2019.
