Veteran musician Nameless is mourning the loss of his beloved father, a man he recently celebrated during his 88th birthday, weeks before his passing.

In a touching Instagram post uploaded at the time, Nameless shared how he, alongside his family, had gathered to mark his father's special day.

The photos captured a wholesome family moment; his parents were seated while the rest of the family stood around them, beaming with joy and gratitude.

What stood out from that celebration was not just the warmth in the room, but a powerful life lesson the elder imparted to his children.

“Dad told us something that I will hold close to my heart. He said he sometimes he sits and watches each and every one of his kids and can't believe he was blessed with such good children that always stick together. That made us feel really good about ourselves," Nameless said.

Additionally, he explained that the wise patriarch encouraged his children to embrace correction and growth within their relationships.

“He also told us to always remember that we can't know everything and to be okay with being corrected, and also to be free to correct each other if we think we need to. Growth is key in any relationship,” the Nasinzia hitmaker added.

The touching words now carry an even deeper meaning in light of his father's passing.

In another instance, Nameless shared his joy when he travelled home to be with his parents as they celebrated 60 years of marriage.

"Came home to see the parents as they celebrate 60 years of marriage! Happy anniversary, daddy and mummy! My forever role models. Thank you for showing us the way," he wrote.

After his dad's death, Nameless penned a moving tribute on social media, describing how honoured and blessed he felt to have had such a father.

His wife, singer Wahu, also took to her socials to mourn the loss, remembering him as a man of profound wisdom.
