Musicians are the most pampered professionals ever - Bullgod on King Paluta's outburst at fan
Artiste manager and entertainment pundit, Bullgod, has stated that musicians are the most pampered professionals, more than individuals in any other field.
He made the statement while reacting to rapper King Paluta’s recent outburst, where the ‘Makoma’ hitmaker insulted a fan during his performance in London.
Speaking on UTV’s United Showbiz, Bullgod explained that unlike other professionals such as soldiers or doctors, musicians often expect constant praise and applause, which he believes has made many of them entitled.
“Artistes are the most pampered professionals ever. I’ve not seen a soldier going to war and asking for people to cheer him on, I’ve not seen a doctor doing surgery and expecting people to cheer him before, except artistes. They feel as though they are human than somebody. If your gifts call crowds, you have to respect the crowds. This is disrespect at the highest level,” he said.
Bullgod expressed disappointment in King Paluta’s attitude and criticised him for disrespecting a fan who came to watch him perform.
According to him, for someone who struggled underground for over a decade, the rapper should be more appreciative and humble.
“King Paluta is a fool. A fool is somebody who is unwise, a fool is somebody who does not recognise where he is. Today I was on a particular platform where he mentioned on that same platform that he was underground for 15 years and I stated that I’ve understood why he was underground for 15 years.
“If he goes now, he will be away for 88 years. He is human, some of these things could happen but the moment you get into that realm where you start insulting people and people are calming you down, you have to listen to them,” Bullgod added.
