has shared a statement, claiming that he has far less money than some might expect of the entrepreneurial YouTube content creator. Though the YouTube icon MrBeast is certainly famous, it seems he's apparently kept so little money that he's borrowing it from his own mother.
MrBeast has reached a stunning 400 million subscribers on YouTube, and shows no signs of slowing down. In addition to his YouTube channel, he's also launched a ton of other efforts, including a show on Amazon, food products like Lunchly, and even restaurants like MrBeast Burger. While not every effort has been a successful one, overall, MrBeast has continued to find fame and attention from the internet for his many popular challenge videos and giveaways.

Now, though, the content creator is somewhat refuting reports that MrBeast is a self-made billionaire. In response to a tweet from Dexerto regarding him being the youngest self-made billionaire alive, he responded, stating that he actually has very little money personally due to constantly reinvesting the money he earns back into his projects. He claims that he'll probably be spending $250 million on content this year, and that he keeps so little cash that he's borrowing money from his own mother to fund his upcoming wedding. However, he also acknowledged that "on paper," his businesses are worth a lot.
This claim from MrBeast is nothing new, as the content creator has stated in the past that most of the money he makes from his projects go right back into making new ones. In fact, the content creator reportedly lost money on his Beast Games Amazon show, claiming he spent "tens of millions" out of his own pocket. A couple of years ago, MrBeast also stated that no matter how popular he becomes, he'll "never own a mansion, yacht," or a Lambo.
While MrBeast's audience seems to be pleased with this stance, it hasn't been all smooth sailing for the content creator in recent years. MrBeast has faced accusations from fellow content creator Rosanna Pansino for allegedly manipulating footage, and certain individuals at his company faced allegations of misconduct, which led to MrBeast hiring investigators to look into the claims. MrBeast also saw a lawsuit filed against him and Amazon by some of his Beast Games participants, among other things. Still, his popularity seems to be continuing to grow, and statements from MrBeast regarding his earnings going right back into his projects are part of what the audience love about his content.
