MiTAC Showcases Sustainable AI Data Centers at COMPUTEX 2025

At COMPUTEX 2025, MiTAC Computing Technology Corp., a subsidiary of MiTAC Holdings Corp., revealed its new vision of becoming a full-solution AI and data center innovator, moving beyond its role as a hardware provider. The company is offering future-ready solutions that encompass AI training and inference, high-performance computing (HPC), rack-level liquid cooling, GPU resource management, and real-time data mobility, all integrated into a platform designed for next-generation data centers.

MiTAC Computing President Rick Hwang emphasized the company's dedication to open innovation. By partnering with global tech entities and adhering to Open Compute Project (OCP) standards, MiTAC now provides comprehensive solutions from server to rack, featuring advanced liquid cooling technology. This approach simplifies data center operations and enhances computing performance and energy efficiency, supporting the development of smarter, high-performance, and sustainable infrastructure. Hwang noted that this is MiTAC's first COMPUTEX appearance since the MiTAC brand integration, expressing excitement about offering customers a more open, flexible, and deeply integrated portfolio of solutions.

MiTAC Computing is embracing the future of AI under the theme "Empowering Unlimited Possibilities: AI x Sustainability," showcasing real-world applications and introducing new solutions for smarter, greener, and more scalable AI ecosystems. The company displayed a range of AI inference servers at COMPUTEX, highlighting the MiTAC G4527G6 (MGX™ 4U) with eight NVIDIA RTX PRO™ 6000 Blackwell server GPUs, the NVIDIA MGX™ PCIe Switch board with ConnectX®-8 SuperNIC, and dual Intel® Xeon® 6767P processors. Also featured was the MiTAC G8825Z5 (8U), equipped with two AMD EPYC™ 9005 series processors and eight AMD Instinct™ 350 series GPUs, designed for generative AI, inference workloads, and large language model processing.

MiTAC Computing also introduced full-rack liquid cooling systems with Liquid-to-Air and Liquid-to-Liquid options. These systems, showcasing in-row Coolant Distribution Units (CDUs) from global partners, provide over 2000 kW of cooling power for the thermal demands of AI and HPC workloads. Designed for integration and customization, the systems include MiTAC's monitoring software for optimized management. MiTAC also debuted its Direct Liquid Cooling (DLC) multi-node HPC server, the MiTAC C2820Z5, built for high-performance computing with a DLC system that cools high-power CPUs and fits within ORv3 standard racks powered by 48VDC, resulting in energy savings compared to traditional air-cooling technology.

MiTAC Computing welcomed AMD GPU Market Development Director Ted Marena, who discussed AI GPU development trends and product offerings between MiTAC and AMD. Ken Lin, Senior Vice President of Commercial Business at AMD Taiwan, noted the continuous launch of high-performance server platforms integrating AMD EPYC™ processors with AMD Instinct™ GPUs. He added that they are developing the MI350 GPU series with liquid cooling systems to support demanding AI cluster workloads, addressing the need for both AI computing power and energy efficiency in modern data centers.

Rick Hwang stated that MiTAC is dedicated to enabling future AI applications with solutions that combine high performance, low power consumption, and intelligent management. By optimizing data center infrastructure, MiTAC aims to help global customers advance efficient and sustainable development in AI, HPC, and cloud computing, promoting the adoption of next-generation AI technologies.
