Mission: Impossible The Final Reckoning set to open well

Tom Cruise is in the limelight because of his latest release Mission: Impossible The Final Reckoning, which is a sequel to Dead Reckoning and opened in theatres on May 17. The action thriller is set to take a good start at the Indian box office as the franchise is quite popular in this market. According to Ramesh Bala, a trade analyst, it is expected to earn around Rs 20 crore on the first day.

“The buzz is good, as this is a known franchise. The opening day collection will be around Rs 20 crore. Out of this, nearly Rs 3 crore to Rs 4 crore will come from Tamil Nadu,” he told Indiatimes.

Mission: Impossible The Final Reckoning faces competition from Maaman and DD Next Level in Tamil Nadu. It, however, holds the edge because of the popularity of the franchise. Moreover, Cruise is one of the most recognisable Hollywood heroes in India.
