SAN MATEO, Calif. (FOX26) — California Fire responded to an accident where a car was found dangling over a cliff and only being supported by a tree on Friday.
Cal Fire responded to a report around 2:45 p.m. just south of Gray Whale Cove on Devil’s Slide.
There, they found a vehicle dangling precariously over a 200-foot cliff.
The car was stopped from going completely over the cliff because of the support from a tree.

There was a single person trapped in the car.
The firefighters were able to stabilize the car using a rope system and rescue the victim through the back window.
