Mindy Kaling is making the most of summer as she maintains a busy schedule.
On Monday, June 23, the multi-hypenate, 45, shared Instagram photos from her Hawaiian work vacation, which she embarked on with her three kids β Katherine Swati, 7 (who goes by the nickname Kit), Spencer Avu, 4, and Anne, whom she welcomed in February 2024.
Tagging her location as the Grand Wailea Maui, a Waldorf Astoria Resort, Kaling explained in the caption of her post that her trip involved a mix of work and play.
"Four consecutive days of nonstop sunscreen application! Writing an episode of TV! I look happy and relaxed in paradise in these photos but it was total vigilance and hard work! π«‘ @grandwailea πΊπ΄πβ€οΈπ," she captioned her post.
The post began with a photo of the actress smiling from ear to ear in front of a sunset. She glowed in a colorful floral print dress by Cara Cara.

A photo of Kit and Spencer playing in the ocean water was among the snaps, with Kit wearing a floral blue bathing suit and Spencer wearing a yellow shirt with blue swim trunks.
Other images included in the post showed the TV writer in a white bathrobe in front of three mirrors, as well as a close-up selfie. In a video included in the post, Kaling gave a view of the hotel grounds from her room.
Spencer was also seen standing near a guardrail, looking out at the sunset in a separate image. Anne did the same as she sat in her stroller positioned next to him.

Other photos showed Khaling reading The Maui News and a Hawaiian lei in the shape of a heart. Khaling made sure to show her fans some of the activities she partook in by including videos from a fire show.
Kaling's latest project is Running Point, a Netflix series she created with Elaine Ko, Ike Barinholtz and
David Stassen. The Kate Hudson-starring sports comedy was renewed for a second season in March.
