The popular TikToker's friend shared details of her cause of death during a family meeting at her Nakuru home.
Monica, who cared for Milly during the last days before she died, narrated how she was first hospitalised and underwent surgery to remove a cyst in her body, but she bled a lot, losing too much blood.
She said Milly was given a blood transfusion and was discharged after three days.
However, things worsened and she returned to the hospital, where doctors discovered both her kidneys had failed and she was put on treatment immediately.
"They said if the meds don't work, then they will see what to do next. They had given her until yesterday morning, and if she was getting better she they had to do dialysis," Monica shared.
Unfortunately, Milly breathed her last, and her body was taken to a Nakuru mortuary awaiting burial.
Milly is survived by two children, Brian and Sheila. The mother of two loved her kids dearly and used to post them, pampering them with love, but never showed their faces.
In her last birthday post to her son on his 19th birthday, on December 16, 2024, Milly posted photos with her son, accompanied by a touching message.
"To my firstborn son, I got you when I was 15 years old, and I fell in love with you. It was you that made me a mother. 19 years I know I'm raising a gentleman. May the Almighty protect you," she captioned the photos and layered them with the Firstborn poem by Jess Urlichs with Jacobs Piano's song.

In February, three months before her death, Milly shared a lovely video of her son playing a guitar while she sang passionately. The mum of two was in high spirits and captioned the video:
"Having a good time with my son."

The TikToker's husband, Odeke, spoke for the first time after her death during a family meeting.
Odeke, who is said to have married Milly in April, a month before her death, condoled with Milly's family in a brief speech.
A TBT clip of the TikToker narrating being rescued from the streets by a Mzungu man who later married her moved netizens to tears.
