Popular singer Mika Singh recently reminisced about his cherished moments with Shah Rukh Khan. In a conversation with Pinkvilla, he revealed how he gifted the actor a ring worth Rs 50 lakh and later lent him his Hummer, which SRK kept for three months. Mika described Shah Rukh as one of the humblest and generous people he has ever met.

Mika Singh recalls gifting Shah Rukh Khan a Rs 50 lakh ring: “I got a call from him saying, ‘This is very expensive. Paaji, please take it back’”

During the interview, Mika shared that he always wears a ring worth Rs 50 lakh and has gifted similar ones to Amitabh Bachchan and Gurdas Maan. However, the first person to receive such a gift from him was Shah Rukh Khan. “I wanted to do something for the three of them, but I had nothing else to offer, so I gifted them rings. My ring might not have even mattered to him since he could own rings worth Rs 50 crores or more. But he is very sweet and thanked me for the gift,” Mika said.

The next day, Shah Rukh called Mika to return the expensive ring, saying, “This is very expensive… Paaji, please take the ring back.” However, Mika insisted that SRK keep it. “I am a big devotee of yours and love you very much. I don’t expect you to get me to sing for you or even meet me,” Mika recalled telling the superstar.

Mika also recalled a time when Shah Rukh was shooting for Happy New Year while he was filming a video with Himesh Reshammiya in the same studio. SRK invited Mika to visit his set after wrapping up, but Mika suggested that if King Khan finished first, he should visit Himesh’s set instead. “His shoot wrapped up before ours, and true to his word, Shah Rukh Khan came to our set,” Mika said.

The singer shared how SRK stayed on set for an hour, casually observing their work. “Meanwhile, Himesh bhai was sweating profusely,” he added, recalling how the crowd around them kept growing. As Shah Rukh was quite far from his car, Mika offered him his Hummer to leave comfortably. “He asked, ‘Are you sure?’ and when I said yes, he got inside the car and my driver went with him to drop him off,” Mika said. Later, he messaged the actor, telling him to return the car whenever he wanted. “He liked the vehicle a lot and ended up keeping it for about three months,” he revealed.

On the work front, Mika Singh continues to make music, while Shah Rukh Khan, after three releases in 2023 in the form of Pathaan, Jawan and Dunki, is preparing for his upcoming project titled King.
