VARIOUS OF EMERGENCY RESPONSE BOATS NEAR VESSEL NEW YORK, US - MAY 17: A Mexican Navy ship on a ceremonial visit to New York crashed into the Brooklyn Bridge in Manhattan on Saturday, May 17. According to fire officials and local sources, the vessel, which was carrying a crew of 277, struck the road deck of the bridge, leaving multiple crew members seriously injured. While the bridge remained open to vehicular traffic, maritime operations in the area were temporarily suspended. An investigation into the cause of the collision is currently underway.
