GMA-7's Mavy Legaspi is set to add another impressive credit to his growing resume as one of the hosts of the highly anticipated Pinoy Big Brother Celebrity Edition Collab. This groundbreaking season will unite stars from ABS-CBN's Star Magic and GMA's Sparkle, and Mavy, dubbed "Ang Kapuso Royal Tropa ni Kuya," is thrilled to be part of it.

During a recent appearance on ABS-CBN's It's Showtime, Mavy expressed his excitement to join the iconic reality show. "I'm actually very excited na makilala 'yung bagong housemates na taga-Sparkle, of course Star Magic. And siyempre just to be part of the pinakasikat na bahay sa bansa, siyempre ang bahay ni Kuya. I've been watching it since I was a kid, bata pa lang ako nanonood na ako ng PBB. And now to be one of the hosts together with Gabbi Garcia, Ate Kim (Chiu), Kuya Enchong (Dee), Kuya Robi (Domingo), Ms. Melai (Cantiveros), and of course Bianca (Gonzalez). I'm very excited na and of course the PBB Celeb Collab Edition, March 9 na 'yan," he shared with Vice Ganda.

He further added, "Siyempre may kaba pero I'm very excited na makakasama ko lahat ng amazing hosts at bagong housemates. It's truly an honor to be part of PBB."

This new hosting gig marks another significant milestone for Maverick Peter Villarroel Legaspi, born on 6 January 2001. The son of celebrity power couple Carmina Villarroel and Zoren Legaspi, and the twin brother of actress Cassy Legaspi, Mavy's journey in the entertainment industry began at a young age.

His career started in 2004 as a child commercial model alongside Cassy. This early exposure laid the foundation for his future in showbiz. In 2018, Mavy and Cassy officially joined their parents in the industry by signing with GMA Artist Center (now Sparkle), solidifying their place in the GMA Network.

Mavy's career has been diverse, encompassing hosting and acting. Following Regine Velasquez's departure from GMA, he and Cassy joined their mother as co-hosts on the rebranded Sarap, 'Di Ba? This marked a significant step in his hosting journey.

He further honed his hosting skills through variety shows like Studio 7 and All-Out Sundays, demonstrating his versatility and adaptability. More recently he became part of the TAPE Inc. iteration of Eat Bulaga!, later renamed Tahanang Pinakamasaya after the TVJ copyright case win.

Now, with Pinoy Big Brother Celebrity Edition Collab, Mavy Legaspi is poised to reach new heights. His youthful energy, combined with his established career, makes him a perfect fit for the show.
