The 27-year-old fell out with Man United boss Ruben Amorim in December because of "attitude" problems.

He last wore the Man United jersey on December 12 before he was moved to Villa on loan in January. He has impressed under Unai Emery and will now face Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League quarter-final.

Tuchel included the winger in his squad for the matches against Albania and Latvia at Wembley on March 21 and 24, respectively.

Rashford last featured for England in March 2024 against Brazil at Wembley, per Sky Sports.

"I felt Marcus had a huge impact at Aston Villa...The physical impact was impressive and most importantly, the impact against the ball - his work rate, his defensive impact, his hard work in counter-pressing, his tracking back in his position was impressive," Tuchel said.

Rashford's career at Man United is up in the air. Amorim said he 'refused' to play him because he couldn't buy into his ideas.

"What I say is I couldn't put Marcus to see the way you're supposed to play football and to train the way I see it," he said in February via MEN. "I just wish the best to Rashford and Unai Emery, and they can connect because he's a very good player."

After his return to the squad, he posted a message on Instagram, perhaps to Man United and to celebrate the news.

“Never stop believing. Can’t wait to get started.”

Rashford missed the Euro 2024 after a difficult season at Man United. He will be looking to revive his career and hope he gets to the plane for the 2026 World Cup.

He has produced eye-catching performances at Aston Villa so far. He's played nine games and registered four assists. He will be called upon when Villa face PSG in the Champions League quarter-final.

With Amorim looking to overhaul his squad in the summer, Rashford could find himself in another English club or abroad.

Since having a breakthrough season in 2022/23, he has struggled at Man United scoring just 11 league goals in two and a half seasons.

His work ethic on the pitch has been criticised by fans and it seems his two-decade association with the club is coming to an end.

earlier reported that Rashford was delighted after making his Aston Villa debut.

The winger posted a photo on Instagram thanking the fans and his teammates for their performance.
