Kya Kool Hai Hum 3
' and '
Bhaag Johnny
', is now making a shift away from the entertainment industry. The actress recently shared that she never truly loved her time in the
acting career
.
During an interview with Hindustan Times, the '
Bigg Boss 9
' contestant admitted that she never truly loved it. She expressed gratitude for her experiences in
Bollywood
but emphasized that acting was merely a job for her, something she wasn’t particularly passionate about. She has been turning down offers for modelling and acting roles to focus on her new career, despite the financial temptations that come with them. "It is hard to say no to money," she acknowledged, but she feels fulfilled pursuing her projects in design and academia. She also said, "I still have casting director friends who call me for auditions, and I have to say I can’t devote so much time"
Karimi described how her lifestyle has changed dramatically since leaving acting. She now enjoys a structured routine where she finishes work at the office, attends classes, and finds satisfaction in this new chapter of her life. "My life has changed so much, but I’m loving it," she stated.
She also mentioned that while she started
modeling
at a young age to support herself, "I became a model at such a young age and had to support myself, but I always missed the fact that I couldn’t go back to school", she said.
Her interest in
interior design
was sparked when a friend invited her to explore the field. After completing a year-long course, she discovered a passion for design and now actively works in the profession while also serving as a visiting professor at various institutes.
