Leobert Mangubat Yurong, a man from Zayas, Brgy. Carmen, has tragically passed away after allegedly suffering a severe bone fracture following a chiropractic session. Yurong, who gained attention after sharing his story online, sought chiropractic care last year, but the session reportedly caused his condition to worsen, eventually leading to complications and his untimely death.

Yurong’s ordeal began when he sought treatment from a self-identified home-service chiropractic provider, reportedly from the Zamboanga Peninsula. After the session, Yurong’s leg fracture, which had been originally sustained, worsened instead of improving. His family claimed that the chiropractor promised to assist with hospital expenses but disappeared shortly after, leaving Yurong without the support he was promised.

In an emotional video posted by Yurong on social media, he can be seen pleading for help with his medical costs, emphasizing the critical situation he was facing. Despite the promise of aid from the chiropractor, he was left without the necessary treatment, which further deteriorated his health. A hospital examination revealed that Yurong’s leg fracture was severe enough to require the insertion of stainless steel plates for proper healing. However, due to a lack of funds, the treatment could not be completed, leading to further complications.
