The Luzerne Music Center returns this summer with its 2025 season, running from June 27 to August 17, featuring a dynamic lineup of performances by both regional and local musicians.

Nestled within the foothills of Adirondack Park, the Luzerne Music Center continues to offer world-class music education alongside live concerts.

Since 1980, the Luzerne Music Center has become home to thousands of young musicians each summer, blending both an intensive music festival with the traditional summer camp experience. Guided by values such as courage, resilience, empathy, diversity, and kindness, the Luzerne Music Center provides professional instruction to musicians aged 9-18, regardless of financial circumstances. The training offered includes small and large ensembles, private lessons, and group based classes.

The Luzerne Chamber Music Festival features three concerts by acclaimed musicians from across the Northeast. Held at the Jack Lawrence Performance Lodge on the Luzerne Music Center’s campus, these concerts promise inspiring musical experiences.

All performances will take place on Mondays at 7:30 p.m. Tickets for the Luzerne Chamber Music Festival can be found here

The Faculty Artist Series features six public concerts curated and performed by the renowned LMC faculty– including composers-in-residence James Chu and Connor Elias Way. The performances will take place on Fridays at 7:30 p.m. in the Jack Lawrence Performance Lodge and highlight a wide range of classical repertoire while showcasing the talents of LMC’s accomplished teaching aritsts.

Tickets can be found here.

Throughout the summer, LMC students will present a variety of concerts ranging from solo to chamber music showcases to full symphony orchestra and piano prelude concerts. These events give students the opportunity to present their talents to the local community and share their musical growth.

All student performances are free and open to the public.

More information on the Luzerne Music Center can be found at their official website.
