Brian Ng’ang’a, the son of prominent city businessman Francis Ng’ang’a, has denied claims that a court issued a warrant of arrest against his brother, Brandon, and his father.

The family was thrust into the spotlight following the unfortunate death of the entrepreneur’s wife, Lucy Wambui, after a cosmetic procedure.

The rumours started when renowned blogger Cyprian Nyakundi claimed the warrant was over a case involving a KSh 6.5 million vehicle.

“The owner of Valley Road Motors and his son failed to appear in court to answer charges related to the alleged theft of a luxury vehicle. Makadara Law Courts Principal Magistrate Gilbert Shikwe issued the warrants on Wednesday after they skipped a scheduled plea-taking session,” Nyakundi wrote.

According to the blogger, the accused allegedly conspired to steal a red Mercedes-Benz E350 belonging to one Andrew Kiarie within Dandora.

“The charges include conspiracy to commit a felony under Section 393 of the Penal Code and theft of a motor vehicle under Section 287(A). Despite being released earlier on police cash bail, none of the accused appeared in court.”

He claimed that police had the authority to arrest the father and son and produce them in court before the mention on June 26, 2025.

Brian shared a screenshot of Nyakundi's X post, saying it was fake.

"Get your facts right. If malice had a face, it would be 'Robert Mugga' and these fake bloggers. We have bigger and better things to deal with than this nonsense.

"Boss, relax and eat fruit. You have a tough few months ahead, so stop trying to make sense of this because it is nonsense," he wrote, tagging an Instagram user.

He further urged the person to stop talking about his family.

Speaking from his Lavington home after his wife's demise, the city motors dealer said his wife got seriously ill after the cosmetic procedure at the Body by Design clinic.

Ng'ang'a blamed the establishment for his wife's death, narrating how she was sent home when they realised something was amiss, and the establishment closed immediately.

The loving husband narrated how the following morning, on October 26, he had a conversation with his wife, little did he know it was going to be their last communication.

According to Ng’ang’a, his beloved wife said she felt really bad and instructed him to take care of their children should she die.

In April, three individuals were arraigned in connection with the death of the 47-year-old woman. Edna Wanjiru, the owner of Body by Design Clinic, along with surgeon Robert Maweu Mutula and George Wakaria Njoroge, appeared before Senior Principal Magistrate Samson Temu and pleaded not guilty to the charges.
