The Clemson University graduate knew what he was looking for in a woman before every date, and he gave some details about what he would like to find in a partner.

Along with his ideal traits in a woman, Tanner gave some advice to people who might be feeling nervous before their first dates.
“I would say to people when they go on dates, they have to be nice, kind, polite, and a gentleman,” he stated. “It’s OK to be quiet sometimes. You can tell them that you’re having fun, but I’m not talking right now because I don’t have anything to say.”

Tanner also opened up about how he doesn’t think people should be uncomfortable when talking about autism.
“People should be comfortable talking about autism,” Tanner said. “I spread joy around the world because I smile, I make people feel good, and I say good things about them.”

“My sister Midge is the best!” Tanner said during one of the Love on the Spectrum season 3 episodes. “She is one of my very best friends in the world, and she helps me when I have hard days. We also laugh and have so much fun together! She talks me through things when I’m confused, and we talk about dating too. I ask her questions about things I don’t know. I’m a lucky guy.”
Midge was lucky enough to be by Tanner’s side when he met one of his icons – . Tanner made an appearance on The Kelly Clarkson Show and host surprised him with a visit from the Minecraft Movie star.
