Lottie Moss wears her sister Kate Moss' iconic Glastonbury outfit: 'I felt a lot of pressure to be like her'
turned heads at Glastonbury 2025 by channeling one of the most iconic festival looks of all time, the one her half-sister made famous two decades ago.
The 27-year-old model stepped out at the UK’s legendary music festival in a shimmering gold dress paired with black Hunter wellies, nearly identical to Kate’s unforgettable 2005 ensemble. To complete the look, Lottie added a belt and layered the metallic knit over black hot pants, a modern twist on the original style.

“I actually found this gold dress,” Lottie revealed on her Dream On podcast ahead of the festival. “I don't know if you remember this picture of my sister, she's walking through Glastonbury and she's wearing Hunter Welly boots and this gold dress and a little belt. I found pretty much the exact dress in Zara.”
She continued, “I was like, how cute would it be to recreate one of my sister's most iconic looks? So I've got my Long Hunters and I've got the dress. I bought this dress maybe a month ago and it's just been sat on my table waiting for Glastonbury. I'm really excited.”

Fans and followers immediately took to social media to compare the sisters’ festival fashion. “Is that Kate’s Glasto dress??” one asked on Instagram. Another wondered, “Is that your sister’s gold top from the 00s Glasto days?” Others simply called the look “epic” and “iconic.”

Kate Moss, now 51, became synonymous with Glastonbury fashion in the 2000s. Her gold Lurex mini dress and muddy wellies, worn while dating rocker Pete Doherty, are still widely regarded as the festival’s ultimate style moment.
Fittingly, Doherty’s band The Libertines returned to the lineup this year, adding another layer of nostalgia to Lottie’s tribute. While soaking up the sun in Glastonbury’s hospitality area, Lottie shared Instagram photos of her outfit, captioning them, “Glastonbury 2025 Ily everyone who made this the best one yet.”

The model has been candid in recent months about her struggles with body image, comparisons to Kate, and past cosmetic procedures. On The Price of Perfection, Lottie told Olivia Attwood: “I think I always felt compared to her at the beginning of my career… people expected me to be kind of like a carbon copy of her as well.”

She added, “I felt a lot of pressure to be like her and look like her and, you know, I dabbled in that party lifestyle. That was essentially how they stayed skinny back in the day cos they had this wild party lifestyle.”
Lottie has since taken a different route, dissolving her facial fillers and removing her under-eye “Lover” tattoo, which she originally got in Bali. “It has helped me feel like myself again,” she explained in an emotional TikTok video, wiping away tears.
