I can hardly remember the last time I visited an indoor mall since my shopping habits have shifted from weekly brick-and-mortar store trips to online retailers like Shopbop, Net-a-Porter, and Revolve. That’s why I was shocked when a friend mentioned that they were shopping for summer styles at LOFT. I hadn’t thought about the beloved mall brand in years, but much like Gap, LOFT has officially undergone a cool-girl makeover.

While browsing through the site, I came across every must-have summer trend, from Bermuda shorts to jelly flats. True to form, LOFT is having an incredible sitewide sale, with pieces up to 60 percent off. ICYMI: Polka dots are the It girl trend taking over this summer, and this $19 top from LOFT is the easiest way to embrace the effortlessly chic pattern. The strapless tube top features a stretchy, smocked back, and its relaxed fit won’t feel too constricting, unlike other bustier-inspired tops. LOFT’s other polka dot pieces are almost entirely sold out, so I’m picking up the strapless top while it’s still in stock.  

I’m attending three weddings this summer, so this ruffled maxi dress immediately caught my eye. The flattering chiffon dress can be easily styled for everyday wear with sandals and a denim jacket, but I plan to add a semi-formal touch with a pair of strappy heels and a statement clutch. Plus, as someone who’s 5-feet-tall, I appreciate that it comes in petite sizing.
