Each month, we highlight local celebrities making headlines in Bergen and beyond. In this installment, we feature the social media sensation Livvy Dunne, Bergen at the Met Gala and more.

Gymnast and social media sensation Livvy Dunne [featured in the June 2023 issue of (201)] was spotted at the 151st Kentucky Derby wearing a black-and-white polka-dot mini dress with an oversized hat. Dunne also made a splash by landing her first Sports Illustrated Swimsuit cover after being featured in the 2023 and 2024 issues.

Fort Lee native Kerri Green reunited with former castmates to celebrate 40 years of The Goonies which was released on June 7, 1985. The former Pascack Hills High School student will also celebrate the 40th anniversary of another ’80s classic, Summer Rental, on August 9.

Singer and actor Constantine Maroulis [featured in the November 2008 issue of (201)] returned to the American Idol stage with other Season 4 finalists to help celebrate the show’s newest judge, Carrie Underwood.

Actress Julia Knitel [featured in the July 2017 issue of (201)] was nominated for a Tony Award for Best Performance by an Actress in a Featured Role in a Musical for Dead Outlaw, in which she plays multiple roles.

With a theme of “Superfine: Tailoring Black Style,” Bergen dazzled on the red carpet of the 2025 Met Gala.
