When you need something or just want to buy something, where do you go first? The days of hopping in the car to head to the mall, hardware store or book shop are a thing of the past for many folks, who now just pick up their phone or laptop and start shopping. We spend a lot of time shopping online, but it turns out, just a handful of retailers get the majority of our money.
New research from Similarweb analyzes data to see which online shopping sites Americans use most often, and one wins by a landslide. Unsurprisingly, Amazon is the most popular site in the country for shopping, getting more than double the Internet traffic as Walmart, its biggest competitor.
