Like mother, like daughter: Ali Keating wows in mum Yvonne's wardrobe at Style Awards
It seems as though everyone and their mother (pardon the pun) raided their mum’s wardrobe for the 2025 VIP Style Awards.
Not only did the Ryan sisters upcycle their outfits, but Ali Keating borrowed something from Yvonne Connolly’s wardrobe which she hasn’t worn in over a decade.
It’s safe to say Ali got it from her mama as she oozed confidence on the red carpet on Friday, posing up a storm for photographers.

Ali wore a striking purple floor-length gown. The dress, when originally worn by her mum, had cap sleeves, but the 19-year-old pulled them back to give it a sleeveless cut.
The gown has a gathered detail at the waist, giving an otherwise plain design a bit of something something.
Speaking to on the red carpet, Ali said: ‘I was going to wear a different [dress] that I wore before, but then we saw this and mum was like “Yes, you have to wear this!!”
‘I’m not one that [leaves] the black category,’ the teenager told her of her U-turn decision to wear purple.
Ali accessorised with very cool statement gold earrings, a gold clutch bag, and sparkly heels- more power to her if she kept the stilettos on while dancing the night away!
Yvonne first wore the dress Ali borrowed to the Emeralds and Ivy Ball at Battersea Power Station in London in December 2010, an event which she attended with her ex-husband Ronan Keating.
Like mother, like daughter, as they say, as Ali looked equally as glam as her mum did some 15 years back in the same gúna.
Ali and Yvonne stepped out together at the 2025 VIP Style Awards, alongside Yvonne’s partner John Conroy, to support Jack, who was up for the Most Stylish Newcomer Award.
