Laura Warrilow Returns to Fellows as Head of Watches
Fellows Auctioneers has appointed Laura Warrilow as head of watches for a second time.
Between 2009 and 2014, under Warrilow’s leadership, the watch department’s schedule grew from four times a year to regular events, the company said Tuesday. Before rejoining the company, she worked at the Watches of Switzerland group, where she oversaw its expansion to a market-leading position. The company saw its turnover boosted to over 20 times its original level, Fellows added.
Warrilow’s new position will include managing an increase in the department’s commercial and client-focused activities, and working with both internal team members and wider business specialists.
“[Warrilow] brings with her a wealth of experience and knowledge of the watch trade,” said managing director Stephen Whittaker. “I look forward to working with her again and supporting her as she sets in place her plans to expand our watches offering and enhance our bidders’ and vendors’ auction experiences.”
Warrilow’s first auction in her new role will include Watches & Watch Accessories on May 29, followed by the Watches auction on June 26. She will also lead a series of valuation and private viewing events throughout June at the company’s Mayfair and Birmingham locations in the UK.
