LEWISTON, Idaho – A large grass fire has erupted just outside the Lewiston city limits.
The fire is currently burning along Tammany Creek Road and near the Lewiston Orchards. The extent of the fire, and whether any evacuations have been ordered, remains unknown.
The sheriff’s office was contacted for information but was not yet able to provide details on the size of the fire or any potential evacuation orders.
A number of photos circulating online depict flames and thick smoke engulfing the area.
