The MP, also the National Assembly majority leader, praised ODM members who joined the Kenya Kwanza government as Cabinet secretaries, stating they are doing a commendable job.
Speaking on Thursday, January 16, Ichung’wah said that the Cabinet secretaries, including Ali Hassan Joho (Mining), Opiyo Wandayi (Energy), John Mbadi (Treasury), and Wycliffe Oparanya (Cooperatives and MSEs), have shown commitment in serving Kenyans.
"I must commend cabinet secretaries who came from ODM. These are cabinet secretaries who serve this country with diligence, integrity, and commitment to the people of Kenya," Ichung'wah stated.
Ichung’wah stated that one doesn’t become a Cabinet secretary to serve the head of state, but to serve the Kenyan taxpayers, which he noted the ODM CS's are doing.
