Kim Kardashian Managing North's Career: Already 'Complaining' (EXCL) | In Touch Weekly

has been opening up about formally managing her daughter s career, and a source exclusively tells In Touch how she’s getting plenty of tips from current family matriarch as they work together to shape the young kid’s future.

“Kris is thrilled to have Kim following in her footsteps,” the insider says. “She has so much knowledge to share.”

“It’s also a heck of a lot of work to be a momager and Kris feels like no one in the family has ever really acknowledged how much energy it’s taken her over the years to keep all their careers running,” the insider adds. “So, she’s pretty happy that Kim’s getting a taste of what it’s like and how exhausting it is. Kim’s already complaining about all the time it takes out of her own schedule and she’s asking Kris for her help.”

A different source previously dished to Life & Style that Kris, 69, is “always thinking ahead” when it comes to her family. “It’s been high on her agenda for years to build the next generation of her family empire, which is why she’s been slowly phasing the kids into the show.”

In addition to Kim’s four children with ex-husband — North, , and — Kris has been pushing daughter ’s kids with ex — Mason, Penelope and Reign — into the limelight on their show, The Kardashians.

While the whole next generation of Kardashian kids are up and coming, the first source notes it’s Kim’s daughter North, 11, that has the most breakout potential among the group. The SKIMS founder recently discussed how she goes about deciding her daughter’s best career moves on the January 31 episode of Sara Foster and Erin Foster‘s “World’s First Podcast” saying, “She’ll get an offer to do a photo shoot or something. And like, we really sit and talk about it as a family.”

“Like, ‘Should she do this? What’s too much? What’s not?'”

When pressed about whether or not Kim is concerned about her children growing up in the spotlight with hopes of stardom, she explained, “I can’t, like … they’re already in it, right? Because just of who their parents are.”

“And so I try to protect that and be so mindful of them being their own people and them not feeling like they have to, you know, be in our shadows.”

With Kim developing her momager skills at the same time her daughter is developing her star power, the source insists that “of course, Kris is doing what she can to assist, but she’s not going to fully take over North’s career.”

Instead, that duty will be left up to North’s mother as the mantle of matriarch is passed down. But beyond that, as with all things Kardashian, Kim’s out-of-pocket ex Kanye can still make things difficult.

“She already has enough on her plate and the fact is, Kanye still has a say in everything that goes on and he’s the last person Kris wants to have any sort of contact with.”
