Kiambu Dad Painfully Mourns His 3 Children Who Died In House Fire
Sorrow engulfed residents of Kabete in Kiambu county after a fire incident claimed the lives of three children from one family.

Their distraught father, Mungai Njoroge, mourned them painfully and blamed the county’s fire department for failing to respond promptly and avert such tragedies.
He bitterly condemned the Kiambu administration, noting that residents had endured enough fire incidents.
“It is time for change. Today, this happened to me; tomorrow, it could be you. I would like to tell the Kiambu County Government that we are tired of these rampant fire outbreaks,” he stated.
The deceased children were aged 14, 5, and 2 years.
The remains of the three children were moved to St. Teresa Hospital Mortuary in Kikuyu.
Kabete Officer Commanding Police Division (OCPD) Antony Mbogo urged locals to avoid blocking pathways, ensuring that firefighters can manoeuvre through to help during fire incidents.
“We had difficulty getting fire brigade vehicles into the compound due to blocked roads linking the main road to the houses,” he explained.

Additionally, a 93-year-old woman from Ngecha village in Limuru lost her life after an early morning fire razed her house.
“We have fire incidents every Monday, and we keep asking what the problem is, but we never get answers,” stated a resident.
The elderly woman’s body was moved to Tigoni Hospital Mortuary as investigations commenced to determine the cause of the frequent fires in the county.
In other news, reported that a heartbroken father tearfully mourned his two children, who died in a fire that consumed their home.
Christopher Atieko recounted the terrifying moment he arrived home to find his house engulfed in flames, with no sign of his children.
The distraught man claimed that his relatives had previously threatened him and his children, saying he was not part of their family.
also reported that a family in Kahawa was grief-stricken after their two sons died when a fire razed their home.
The deceased boys’ uncle, Nathan, said an immersion heater sparked and started the fire, which destroyed everything in the house.
He explained that Steve and John died after inhaling the smoke while making an appeal for help to bury them and rebuild their lives.
