The second retail location from the renowned wine importer in 53 years opens fall 2025

— Today, Kermit Lynch Wine Merchant, an importer, retailer, wholesaler, and distributor of fine wine from France and Italy, announced plans to open a retail location in Marin Country Mart in fall 2025. 

The Marin Country Mart location will be the second retail location from Kermit Lynch Wine Merchant since the original storefront opened 53 years ago in 1972. Similar to the Berkeley retail location, the shop will offer the local community an opportunity to access wines exclusively imported by Kermit Lynch Wine Merchant right in their own backyard.

“While we have focused on growing our wholesale and national distribution businesses over the past four decades, we have always remained dedicated to our retail business and the direct relationships we have built with our clients,” Kermit Lynch Wine Merchant President Dixon Brooke said. “The future Marin location offers us the opportunity to return to our roots while expanding our reach, meeting new clients, and serving a broader local audience. Jim Rosenfield, owner and operator of Marin Country Mart, will welcome the second Kermit Lynch Wine Merchant shop into his village of artisans and merchants.
