SZA and Kendrick Lamar gave fans a preview of their upcoming by performing their latest collaboration "luther" as well as their Grammy-nominated song "All The Stars." Once SZA left the field, Lamar mentioned that he wanted to perform the ladies' favorite song but said "you know they love to sue." He served up the line aimed at Drake before he performed Lamar delivered the hit song and even smiled into the camera as he rapped "Say Drake, I heard you like 'em young." However, he skipped over the "certified pedophile" lyric.

Although he excluded the spicy allegation, Lamar didn't let Drake slide. He recruited the Canadian rapper's ex to c-walk during his performance of "Not Like Us." Drizzy and Serena Williams dated nearly 10 years ago. The tennis player moved on long ago, but clearly, she was down to shade her ex during Kendrick's historic set. He wrapped up the show with "tv off" and brought out Mustard to perform the song with him. At the end, the lights in the crowd flashed "game over."

The Compton native gave fans a hint about his explosive performance ahead of the big game. During a recent interview, K Dot explained how storytelling plays a major role in his performances no matter what city he's in. He revealed his plan to bring the spirit of his hometown to NOLA for the rare show.

“I’ve always been open about storytelling in my music,” Lamar said. “It’s something I’m passionate about bringing to every stage, whether it’s a world tour or a small club show... I want to bring that LA energy to New Orleans for the world to see. I want it to radiate through the televisions and the crowd in the stadium.”
