Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom release statement confirming end of relationship

In recent weeks, rumours have circulated speculating that Orlando Bloom and Katy Perry have ended their nine-year relationship.
Today, (4th July), the pair have released a public statement confirming that the rumours are in fact true.
The statement read: “Representatives have confirmed that Orlando and Katy have been shifting their relationship over the past many months to focus on co-parenting.
“They will continue to be seen together as a family, as their shared priority is – and always will be raising their daughter with love, stability, and mutual respect.”
The former couple began seeing each other in 2016, and split up in 2017, before reuniting. Orlando proposed to Katy in 2019, but the pair never married. In 2020, the pair welcomed their daughter, Daisy Dove.
British actor Orlando was previously married to model Miranda Kerr, and together they share one son, 13-year-old Flynn.
