The trailer for Kaalidhar Laapata, a new slice-of-life film starring Abhishek Bachchan, was released on Saturday. The film is set to premiere on ZEE5 on July 4.

Directed by Madhumita and produced by Zee Studios, Kaalidhar Laapata follows the story of Kaalidhar, a man searching for meaning in his life. His routine takes a turn when he meets Ballu, a young boy played by Daivik Baghela. Their growing bond becomes the foundation of the film’s emotional arc, as the two set out to complete Kaalidhar’s bucket list. Ballu’s upbeat nature and straightforward wisdom help Kaalidhar look at life differently.

Sharing the trailer on his X handle, Abhishek wrote, “Kabhi kabhi life mein second chances lene padte hai, and that’s when the most unexpected experiences and bonds are born.” He described the film as a “soul-stirring slice-of-life film.”

Zeeshan Ayyub also appears in a supporting role. The film adds to Abhishek Bachchan’s recent run of projects, following his appearance in Housefull 5.
