K-Pop Sensation Aoora Embraces Indian Music With 80% Hindi Playlist | - The Times of India

witnessed a performance by Aoora, the
K-Pop singer
who was also a contestant in Bigg Boss. "I was extremely excited to perform at the Hello Seoul Festival,"
Aoora
exclaims. "This was my first authentic K-Pop experience event in India, I was looking forward to witnessing genuine K-Pop fans enjoy Korean culture in India. Main bahut Khush hoon!" (I'm very happy!)
Aoora's love for India and its culture is evident in his enthusiasm for performing at the festival. When asked about the love he's receiving in India, he responds, "I'm extremely grateful and feel blessed. I hope to receive more love from everyone in the coming times. Sarangeyo!" (I love you!)
Apart from his K-Pop roots, Aoora also has a deep appreciation for Indian music. "I totally love Indian music," he confesses. "In fact, my playlist has 80 percent Indian music. I love many musicians like Pritam, A.R. Rahman, and Mitraz."
As Aoora looks to explore opportunities beyond singing in India, he expresses his interest in food and fashion. "I think there's so much opportunity to bring the best of Korean and Indian food and fashion together," he says.
When asked about introducing K-Pop to India, Aoora shares his vision of creating
Indo-K-Pop fusion music
. "I think K-Pop is already very popular with younger people in India, but to expand the K-Pop audience, I feel it's essential to understand their music taste as well," he explains. "I wish to bring the best of K-Pop and Indian music together and create Indo-K-Pop fusion music. I feel this is the best way I can introduce the best of K-Pop to Indian audiences."
