Juliette Binoche delivered the final noteworthy look from the Resurrection Cannes Film Festival premiere—and if you’re experiencing a little déjà vu, you’re not alone.

This black satin gown shares the same off-the-shoulder silhouette as the pink version Barbara Palvin wore earlier in the week. But the similarities end there.
Juliette’s take felt like a masterclass in understated glamour. Where Barbara’s pink had a bit more playfulness, Juliette’s black column version came with sleek refinement, elevated by its crease-free fabric. Barbara’s didn’t hold up on the car ride to the red carpet.
This was less red carpet performance and more presidential presence—which fits perfectly, given her role as Jury President.
It’s a reminder that the right cut, fabric, context and a steamer can completely transform a gown. On Juliette, the look felt stately without being stiff, glamorous without trying too hard.
Finished with jewels, this was classic French elegance, Cannes-style. A quietly powerful closing note to a week full of fashion fireworks.
Stylist: Jonathan Huguet.
