Journalist Gives Out Free Doughnuts to Strangers to Mark Random Acts of Kindness Day

“It is cold outside, so we decided to move our operation inside Union Station, and these guys have no idea why I am approaching them,” Roseanne said as she walked towards two men.

The journalist introduced herself and offered a doughnut to each of the two men, who appeared surprised by the gesture.

One of them, Maurice, declined the offer, while the other, Mark, accepted one as she engaged them in a brief conversation about the weather.

“It was very difficult to get out of bed this morning; it was very cold,” stated Maurice.

She then proceeded to find another recipient while carrying a pink box full of sweet treats.

“Of course, I want a doughnut! My name is Danna. I’m travelling to Texas now with a nice chocolate doughnut,” said a delighted stranger upon receiving the journalist’s offer.

The bubbly journalist then handed another doughnut to a man seated while waiting to travel to Denver.

The man, Andy, shared his Random Acts of Kindness Day experience, highlighting the growing popularity of the special day.

“I was dragging my bags down the sidewalk at 5 am this morning in the freezing wind when a guy pulled over and asked if I needed a ride. At first, I didn’t trust him, but he ended up giving me a lift and later asked if I could help him out,” he narrated.

Andy said he took the stranger for breakfast before he drove him to Chicago Station. Roseanne lauded the man for his kind gesture, noting how kindness can be contagious.

She concluded the bulletin by saying she had more boxes of doughnuts to share with strangers.

In other news, reported that a hotel worker used his money to rent rooms for homeless and helpless people during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Brian Arya said most of the people who benefited from his initiative were evictees and people without jobs and unable to pay house rent.

He started the service on the social media platform TikTok, under a channel dubbed @Itmotel where he shared cool moments welcoming clients.
