Social media users who followed the emotional ceremony held in Kiambu County left heartfelt messages in the comment section

It was a deeply emotional moment for Jesus Compassion Ministry (JCM) as they laid to rest one of their members.

Magdalene Njoki Mburu passed away in the hospital during childbirth, leaving behind immense grief within her family and the church.

She was laid to rest on Friday, May 23, at Juja Farm, Kiambu County, in a ceremony attended by hundreds of mourners.

Her husband, Njoroge wa Keyboard Madalina, could not hold back his emotions after losing the love of his life.

He was overcome with sorrow when it came time to throw soil into his wife's grave following the lowering of the coffin.

He could not come to terms with the reality that she was gone forever—it was the last time he would see her.

When handed a shovel full of soil, he could barely lift it to complete the ritual.

As mourners watched in silence, sharing in his pain, Njoroge gently raised his right hand and waved downward, signalling that he could not go through with it.

He turned away, and two men—one on each side—supported him as he slowly walked away from the gravesite.

A heavy cloud of sorrow hung over the scene, evident in every movement and expression.

Wails of anguish filled the air as the community laid the deceased to rest.

Social media users flooded the comment section with condolences and words of comfort:

Winnie Mutugi:

"May her soul RIP 🙏. Njoroge wa Keyboard and the family, God remains God. He is still on the throne, even in this moment. His grace is sufficient for you and the entire family and friends."

Rachael Njuguna:

"Gone too soon, girl. May your soul rest in eternal peace, and may the good Lord comfort Njoroge and your family."

Njoki Karanja:

"It's been six months since my dad left us. It hasn't been easy 😭😭😭. I feel the pain. May God strengthen the entire family."

In another heartbreaking moment, Njoroge could not hold back his tears while viewing his wife’s body ahead of the burial.

He was accompanied by two gentlemen, one of whom wore a suit matching his, standing beside him in support.

When he saw the lifeless body of his wife, the mother of their three children, he broke down in tears.
