Tokushima Gambarous (B3 League) re-signed 28-year-old American 202cm power forward Tavrion Dawson (college: CSUN, agency: One Motive Sports) for the new season. He has played there for the last two seasons. It was a very successful year in his career as he was voted to Asia-Basket.com All-Japanese B League D3 Honorable Mention.
In 2018, he was selected by the Agua Caliente Clippers (G-League) during the second round (6th overall) of the draft.
He graduated from CSUN and it is his 8th season in pro basketball.
Dawson is a very experienced player, having played professionally in seven different countries on three continents. He has experience in European, Latin American, and North American leagues. Dawson has played for teams in Canada, Chile, France, Israel, Sweden, Uruguay, and The Basketball Tournament.
In addition to making it to the B League D3 Semifinals in 2024, he was also selected as the USBasket.com All-CEBL Co-Forward of the Year in 2019.
