Jamie Laing and Sophie Habboo return to TV to share their journey towards parenthood
Jamie Laing and Sophie Habboo were our favourite things about Made in Chelsea – and now they’re coming back!
And while they’re still very much on the socials scene, and have conquered the realm of podcasting, it doesn’t quite hit the same as seeing our favourite reality TV couple back in their natural habitat: the small screen.
Well, huge news for fans! Not only will Jamie and Sophie be documenting their pregnancy journey on their newly-named podcast Nearly Parents, but they’ve inked a deal for a fly-on-the-wall TV show.

The exciting TV news was announced on Monday, with streaming platform Disney+ writing: ‘BIG NEWS. Jamie Laing and Sophie Habboo, the nation’s favourite ‘nearly parents’, will star in a new Original series as they take on their biggest challenge and greatest joy yet… parenthood. Coming soon, exclusively to Disney+.’
Jamie and Sophie gushed that it was a ‘pinch-me moment’ of their respective and shared career.
‘A real pinch me moment for us… Our own series on Disney+ coming soon!!!,’ Jamie and Sophie wrote. ‘We couldn’t be more excited to be Executive Producing this show in association with JamPot and it’s really all thanks to you guys!
‘Seriously, without your endless support we wouldn’t be here now creating it. We really hope you enjoy watching it as much as we love making it.’
‘Who would have thought our podcast that we recorded without Sophie even knowing what a podcast was to now doing this,’ they continued. ‘We’re feeling very excited and lucky! Coming Soon…’
A host of well-known faces came together to share their excitement over the upcoming series, including Angela Scanlon, MIC’s Oliver Proudlock, Davina McCall, and former Pussycat Doll Ashley Roberts.

Jamie and Sophie, who wed in the summer of 2023, announced they were expecting their first child at the beginning of June.
At the time, the couple shared an adorable video of their emotional reaction to seeing their baby on an ultrasound scan for the first time, and it brought a tear to our eye.
