Dallas-born, Los Angeles-based singer-songwriter continues carving a fascinating arc as a future-RnB staple with new single, ‘That’s My Baby’.

Following last month’s playful release ‘’, ‘That’s My Baby’, produced by Hoskins & The Elements, recalls the moonlit soul of post-millennia artists like Ashanti and Brandy.

Moving between sultry coos and breathy spoken-word, ‘That’s My Baby’ finds Stephens in the early throes of infatuation, reciting fervid lines like “I like when you tell me you’re proud of me/I work a lot and it take a lot out of me/When you get off, baby, come take it out on me/You the boss, baby, give me my salary.”

The single comes as Stephens continues her run opening for FLO on their AAA Tour. Last year, Stephens released her project ‘SELLOUT’, home to highlights like ‘WET’, ‘Girls Don’t Cheat’, co-written by Chxrry22, and her tribute to the era where The Neptunes’ collaborated with every pop siren, fan-favourite cut ‘’, which has since passed 1.4 million streams on Spotify.

With the follow-up to ‘SELLOUT’ on the way, fans can whet their appetite with ‘That’s My Baby’. Tune in below.
