ITV Britain's Got Talent 2025 final line up revealed in full as fans fume 'ridiculous' - Belfast Live

Published 12 hours ago3 minute read

The highly anticipated 2025 Britain's Got Talent finals line-up has been unveiled, with 12 talented acts making the cut from thousands of hopefuls.

This year's competition has taken a different format, with the semi-finals airing weekly on Saturdays instead of consecutively over one week. Another twist was the introduction of the Golden Buzzer in the semi-finals for the first time.

Each week, one judge had the power to send an act straight to the final, while the public voted for the second spot. In the final semi-final show, magician Harry Moulding impressed guest judge KSI enough to earn the last Golden Buzzer of the series.

Harry's mind-blowing trick involved guessing audience members' names at random, with the help of judges Bruno Tonioli, Alesha Dixon, and Amanda Holden. The pièce de résistance was a surprise proposal for an audience member named Jess, which had been secretly planned with her boyfriend.

The public then chose nine-year-old gymnastics sensation Binita Chetry to join the finalists, prompting Simon to declare: "This is what I call a moment where a star is born," reports the Mirror.

The stage is now set for the thrilling final next Saturday. Chatting with Ant and Dec, Binita expressed her joy, stating she was "very happy" and eagerly anticipating the final next week.

The line-up for the finale has now been unveiled, with a total of 12 acts set to compete. Alongside Binita and Harry are: LED Dance Group The Blackouts, vocalists Vinnie McKee and Stacey Leadbeatter, guitarist Olly Pearson, and drag queen opera singer Jasmine Rice.

Rounding off the roster are dance ensemble Ping Pong Pang, humourist Joseph Charm, and the soulful Post Office choir Hear Our Voice.

But not everyone was happy with the news with many taking to X to vent their frustrations. One said: "Once again those voting on #BGT are ridiculous!!!" Another said: "#BGT needs to change its name to #BHT. Britain HAD talent."#BGT

And: "God #BGT has gone down the skids so boring these acts." A fourth added: "Well there’s about 4 worth watching in the final. Probably get through it in 30 mins."

But others clearly loved the show with one singling out Harry saying: "That magician Harry absolutely blew my mind."

The much-anticipated finale is scheduled to be broadcast on Saturday (May 31) from 7pm - 9.45pm on ITV1, where the winner will be announced live. Not only will they claim the grand prize of £250,000, but they'll also earn the opportunity to take the stage at the Royal Variety Show. The cash reward has varied over the years, with early series winners from 2007 pocketing £100k.

Ashleigh Butler set a record by winning the largest sum in the show's history, a staggering half a million with her dog Pudsey. Last year, the triumphant Sydnie Christmas walked away with £250,000 and performed at the Royal Variety Show.

Britain's Got Talent final is on Saturday, May 31 on ITV1 and you can catch up with the series on ITVX
