UEB Gesteco Cividale (Serie A2) signed 27-year-old 196cm swingman Luca Cesana for the upcoming season. He is not new to the Italian League, having most recently played for Milano Urania. In 34 Serie A2 games last season, he averaged 6.7ppg, 2.0rpg, and 1.1apg. During the 2023-24 season, he played for another Italian team, Acqua S.Bernardo Cantu (Serie A).
He represented Italy at the European Championship (FIBA EuroBasket) U18 in Volos (Greece) ten years ago. During this event, he scored an average of 9.4 ppg and had 5 rpg.
Cesana has played previously for four other teams: Treviglio, RO Eurobasket, Piacenza, and Monferrato.
