In response, Yashasvi Jaiswal’s brisk 36 off 19 provided some early momentum to RR. Vaibhav Suryavanshi and Sanju Samson added a composed fifty-run stand. RR got to 95/1 at the end of 10 overs. Suryavanshi notched up a fluent half-century. Ravichandran Ashwin’s double-strike in his third over threatened to turn the tide. However, Dhruv Jurel’s explosive cameo of an unbeaten 31 off 12 balls sealed the chase with ease.
