XI'AN, May 26 (Xinhua) -- Inter Milan right-back Denzel Dumfries has sent his best wishes to China League One club Shaanxi Union, emphasizing that "winning mentality is everything in life."

"The determination together to win, to do everything to survive or achieve great things, is very important in football," said Dumfries in a video released by the Chinese second-tier club in west China's Shaanxi province on Monday.

Shaanxi head coach Giovanni Franken, who coached Dumfries in Aruba between 2013 and 2015, reached out to the Nerazzurri defender to share encouragement with his players.

"I heard that you are all great players and that you are all willing to suffer for each other. This is the most important in football," the 29-year-old Dutch international noted.

"Each day is an opportunity to get a better player. I want to wish you all guys the best of luck the rest of the season and make the best of it," he added.

Shaanxi secured a 4-2 victory over Shanghai Jiading Huilong in China League One on Sunday, marking their third consecutive win across the league and the Chinese Football Association Cup.

After finishing second in Serie A, Dumfries and Inter Milan will face Paris Saint-Germain in the UEFA Champions League final in Munich on Saturday, aiming for the club's fourth title in the competition. ■
