The show, named after actor Davis Mwabili’s moniker, blends comedy, drama, and local culture.

Centered around the life of a quirky police officer, Inspekta Mwala tackles social issues with humour while offering entertaining storylines.

The show has gained a loyal following for its relatable characters, witty dialogues, and sharp commentary on everyday life in Kenya.

In the TikTok video shared by Lavender, one of the cast members, a Land Rover Defender belonging to the fictional Kona Mbaya Police Station was seen parked next to a house.

The vehicle had the dark blue police colour, with yellow and orange stripes, complete with the police flag on the door.

An upbeat song played, and the crew moved into the frame, all dressed in blue uniforms. They hilariously danced while moving to the side, making way for the next person.

The last person in line was Mwabili, who wore dark shades.

The actors then moved in the opposite direction, with the video evoking humorous reactions from Kenyans.

Some said the video brought nostalgic memories of when they were younger.

In other news, Mwabili posted a video of himself enjoying a road trip.

Shared on his Facebook page, the clip showed him behind the wheel of his Toyota Prado, a vehicle valued at around KSh 5 million depending on specifications.

Mwabili appeared cheerful as he drove along a busy road, accompanied by a man in the passenger seat who recorded the moment.

He seemed to be heading to Mombasa, with smooth Rhumba music playing in the background.

At one point, the actor clapped along to the rhythm and briefly let go of the steering wheel. While many fans enjoyed the lighthearted video, others reminded him to wear a seatbelt and follow traffic regulations.
