The Bollywood actor’s stunning Rs 20 crore farmhouse, Jahaan, nestled in the hills of Khandala, is more than just a weekend retreat—it’s a reflection of his deep connection with nature, family, and mindful living.
From planting 400 trees with his children to building around a flowing stream, the eco-luxe property is packed with charm, modern comforts, and heartwarming memories. But that’s just the beginning—Suniel’s impressive real estate portfolio, joint ventures with Ahan Shetty and KL Rahul, and entrepreneurial ventures round out a life lived with intention and style. The most striking feature of Suniel Shetty’s farmhouse isn’t the house—it’s the breathtaking panoramic view of the surrounding forest and endless greenery.
Perched atop a hill, the property offers stunning vistas. Suniel recalled that when he first saw the land, it was barren with just a few trees and cactus plants. He envisioned its potential and gradually transformed it into a lush, thriving green estate.
In a chat with Bharti Singh on her YouTube channel, Suniel Shetty opened up about why he chose to invest in a barren hilltop years ago. “People now say, ‘You must see Suniel Shetty’s farmhouse,’ but I built it 16 years ago,” he said.
At the time, it held little financial value, but for Suniel, it was always about creating a space to grow with his children, Athiya and Ahan. He spent weekends farming and planting trees with his family—over 400 of them now thrive where there were once only rocks.
The property’s current value, he said, is just a bonus. The interiors of Suniel Shetty’s farmhouse reflect his deep love for nature, with abundant use of wood, rustic furniture, and earthy tones throughout.
High ceilings and expansive doors and windows blur the line between indoors and outdoors, letting natural light and greenery flow in. The space is dotted with houseplants, and one courtyard even features an open ceiling to allow trees to grow freely. Cozy, oversized sofas and traditional rural artifacts add warmth and charm to the serene, nature-inspired home.Suniel Shetty revealed that he preserved several of the original large rocks from the land and thoughtfully integrated them into the home's interiors—both as natural design elements and a tribute to the property's transformation.
One striking wall in the living room showcases his personal collection of masks, while the wooden-toned marble flooring adds to the home’s seamless blend of rustic charm and modern sophistication.Adding to its charm, the farmhouse features a natural water body that flows through the property. Suniel Shetty shared that the house was designed around this stream, with a bridge built over it to connect various sections of the farm.
Each room opens out to a distinct outdoor area, creating a seamless connection between indoor comfort and the surrounding nature. While the farmhouse embraces a natural, rustic aesthetic, it doesn’t compromise on modern comforts. The property includes a spacious swimming pool on the front lawn, nestled beside a lush garden. Suniel Shetty also added a private theatre room, perfect for cozy movie nights with the family—blending luxury with laid-back countryside living. But perhaps the most eye-catching part of the house is the outdoor sitting area, which features a convertible roof that opens and closes at the touch of a button — offering a spectacular view of the night sky.Suniel Shetty’s luxurious Khandala farmhouse—where daughter Athiya married KL Rahul—is valued at around Rs 20 crore. He also owns a Rs 15–20 crore apartment on Mumbai’s Altamount Road and has invested in high-end properties in Khar and Thane with his son and KL Rahul. A pioneer in celebrity entrepreneurship, Suniel has dabbled in hospitality, runs a real estate firm (S2 Realty), a production house (Popcorn Entertainment), and has invested in startups like SQUATS.
