Indiana makes top-8 for 4-star 2026 small forward Cole Cloer
Indiana men’s basketball is one of the final eight programs under consideration by Cole Cloer, a 4-star small forward in the class of 2026, according to a report from On3’s Joe Tipton:
Indiana has hit the recruiting trail hard under Darian DeVries in his new staff, with those pre-established connections already paying dividends for the program. Small forward has been a position of emphasis, with the program extending scholarship offers to eight players at the position as of this writing and per On3. Cloer has yet to visit Bloomington.
Cloer currently plays at Caldwell Academy in Greensboro, North Carolina. Other programs under consideration are NC State, UConn, Florida, Alabama, Virginia, North Carolina and Louisville. A pretty solid list.
It’s worth paying attention to the in-state schools on this recruitment. Hubert Davis is entering a prove-it season after a string of disappointments in Chapel Hill while Will Wade is riding a wave of momentum after his much-celebrated arrival in Raleigh. He’s On3’s No. 1 recruit in the state, so there’s plenty of pressure for both to secure a commitment.
