INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — Platinum-selling artists Keith Sweat and SWV will headline the Indiana Black Expo’s Music Heritage Festival on July 18.
The festival is part of the 54th annual Summer Celebration, running from July 10 – 20.
Alongside Sweat and SWV, the lineup includes legendary artists such as Deniece Williams, Cameo, and Christopher Williams. The event promises to deliver an unforgettable experience with a blend of R&B, funk, and soul music.

Known for hits like “I Want Her” and “Twisted,” Sweat is a six-time platinum producer and a key figure in the new jack swing era. His influence in R&B spans decades, maintaining a loyal fan base.
Considered one of the most successful female R&B singing groups, SWV celebrated for their soulful harmonies and hits like “Weak” and “Right Here (Human Nature Remix).”
Cameo, famous for their hit “Word Up!” and their vibrant stage presence, brings a high-energy mix of funk and R&B that has been entertaining fans since the late ’70s.
Four-time Grammy Award winner Deniece Williams is renowned for her four-octave range and timeless hits like “Free” and “Let’s Hear It for the Boy.” Her performances blend soul, R&B, gospel, and pop.
Christopher Williams, known for his silky voice and romantic hits like “I’m Dreamin’,” also has a notable acting career, appearing in films such as “New Jack City.”
